Every Student Counts Task Force members from Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta, Georgia Association of School Nurses, Department of Public Health, Department of Education and lead school nurses join to provide you this important educational offering. The need for Georgia’s school nurses to participate in standardized data collection will be discussed. You will learn what needs to be collected and how school nurses can use data to create change and impact decision making.
Objective:
Upon completion of the activity, participants will have increased confidence and knowledge of the purpose and plan for data collection, data points to collect, available supports, effective ways to capture data and reporting at the novice, moderate, and proficient levels with intention to apply knowledge to practice.
